Can it block the ads that spam inbetween every video on YouTube ?

YouTube is one of the worst ad spamming apps to exists.

I like to be able to listen to my playlists while doing stuff around the house but I can’t because the youtubes ads pop up between every song and the volume difference is speaker blowing.

I’ve tried a bunch of ad blocker apps but YouTube app kept the ads coming .

And I know I’m probably going to have to root my phone just to do it and that is disappointing.
