1) install the app from Google Play store. <——–DO THIS FIRST !!!!!!
2) run it, close. <———————————-DO THIS BUT do not download any Maps or Voices
3) uninstall from Application Manager. <————-THEN THIS BUT do not uninstall it with The Google Store !!!!!!
Please note do not use 3rd party uninstallers only use what came with your phone or tablet……
4) install Tomtom_Go_Navigation & Traffic Patched <–NOW THIS
5) restart phone
You are ready to go now get your maps and voices.If download of maps hangs on 1% use obb file (create a map called:com.tomtom.gplay.navapp in android/data/obb en put obb file from download in it) and restart your phone

Found these steps in another forum (I take no credit) it worked for me.
1. Install TomTom from Playstore, having beforehand removed all traces of any previous installation.
2. Run TomTom until you get to the map download page. Do not download any maps. Close TomTom.
3. Find the folder com.tomtom.gplay.navapp in internal storage /Android/OBB and copy it to a safe place.
4. Uninstall TomTom, clearing cache and data.
5. Install the patched version but don’t open it yet.
6. Copy the folder com.tomtom.gplay.navapp that you saved back to internal storage / Android/OBB.
7. Run TomTom and download required maps.

No need to move file just rename it by adding a letter or two and then just rename it back to the original file name

How??? please explain because mine gets stuck at the “starting app” screen over & over..
Go to ‘settings’ and then to ‘apps’ then look for ‘go’ then ‘storage’ and finally clear ‘caxhe’. Try that and then rerun ‘go’.
1 – install original (from g-play)
2 – launch app, go though settings, wait till list of maps appears. Don’t switch off app at this point!
3 – launch file manager, navigate to /storage/emulated/0/android/obb/com.tomtom.gplay.navapp and change name folder to add for example number1 on the end o the folder …navapp1
4 – now exit GO, and uninstall it from app-manager
5 – install patched version from here. Don’t launch it!
6 – back to file manager – go to storaage/android/obb and rename folder naapp1 to the original …navapp
7 – now launch app, go to list of maps – and download which you want.

Is there something about an expiration shown in the app when your instruction will be followed?
it works but , in middle of navigation it goes closes and reopens after every 5 minuts . what can be the problem?

How to install fully google-free android? No google play, no play services.
Google softs all spy soft, listen my contacts, mails, location, etc. without my approving. Deleted all google play soft in my phone (and working other apps without problem), only purchase not available (not need for me).
How to intsall this soft or other good map soft this phone?

Hi there, your Tipps were helpfully. Installation from playstore, start app, close app, deinstallation and installed mod apk. Everything was fine with map downloading.
App will work for 75 days. Hope that the app will work after reaching the 75 days
