Vastu Shastra is the ancient science of architecture and construction. Based on the texts found in Indian sub-continent, the design, layout, measurements, ground preparation, space arrangement and spatial geometry of all buildings, apartments and business units are done so as to get happiness and prosperity. The designs are intended to integrate architecture with nature, the relative functions of various parts of the structure, and ancient beliefs utilizing geometric patterns (yantra), symmetry and directional alignment.
